JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (July 31, 2014) - ETSU Women's Soccer Head Coach Adam Sayers has announced another addition to the Buccaneers' back line with the signing of defender Alba Llaràs Blanco (Molerussa, Spain).
Joining ETSU this season, Llaràs Blanco will bring a wealth of international playing experience to the Buccaneers.
Llaràs Blanco trained with the Catalan National Team's Under-12, Under-16, and Under-18 squads where she competed with some of the nation's most elite talent.
A graduate of La Salle Molerussa High School, Llaràs Blanco played on the Lleida Esportiu club team, where she helped her team to immense success, including being named Team of the Week multiple times during her high school career.
While with Lleida Esportiu, Llaràs Blanco was coached by David Viñes.
The daughter of Antonio Llaràs and Montse Blanco, Alba plans to study business while at ETSU.
Llaràs Blanco cites ETSU's high level of both academics and athletics as what led her to choose ETSU.
