ETSU tops eight NCAA DI statistical categories

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (Dec. 12, 2014) - Following the conclusion of the recent Women's College Cup, NCAA Division I statistics have been finalized with ETSU leading the nation in eight categories.

En route to winning a program-best 15 matches during the 2014 campaign, ETSU finished as the nation's leader in goals per game, assists per game, and points per game.

Meanwhile, All-Southern Conference First Team selections Hannah Short (Bristol, England) and Sarah Zadrazil (St. Gilgen, Austria) paced the country in several individual statistical categories as highlighted below.

"We are very proud to have finished the season with these records," ETSU Head Coach Adam Sayers said. "There were some very strong and consistent individual performances, but the girls also produced many excellent team performances. We would obviously have liked to have progressed to the championship game and beyond, but this season had many positive aspects that we can utilize and build upon as we look toward the future."
