Fall 2021: Named SoCon Freshman of the Year … First Team all-SoCon selection … SoCon All-Freshman honors … Started all 16 games and totaled 74 saves and generated a 7-6-3 record … Earned three SoCon Defensive Player of the Week honors, becoming only the second player in conference history to win three player of the week awards in one season … Allowed just 14 goals and registered seven shutouts in her rookie campaign … The seven shutouts were a new Buccaneer single-season record … Ranked 23rd nationally in save percentage (.841) and 47th in goals against average (.833) … Set season highs in saves with nine in shutouts against Tennessee Tech and Mercer … Posted her first collegiate shutout in first career game – a 1-0 win over Presbyterian.

Prior to ETSU: Attended Fukushima Prefectural Futaba Future Senior High School back in Japan...represented her country as high as the U20 level, receiving a start in goal for her side...also represented the U16-U19 Japan teams...helped record a 3rd place medal in the 2018 Asian Qualifiers...a gold medalist with Japan in the U19 Asian Qualifiers in 2020...won the 2021 Challenge League Championship with her club side JFA Academy Fukushima LSC.

Personal: Born on July 11, 2002...daughter of Tatsushi and Keiko Ohba...also played rugby and swam.
