"Even though we finished last in the conference, we got a good draw," said ETSU women's tennis coach Steve Brooks. "Due to our low numbers and our inexperience, we were at a disadvantage earlier in the season. But now that we have seen everybody play, we have a good chance in our first round match. We match up pretty good, we just have to play maturely, just leave it all on the court.
If the Bucs can advance past the Mountaineers, they will face No. 2-seeded Chattanooga in Friday's second round, at 1 p.m. from the Earle Tennis Center on the campus of The Citadel in Charleston, S.C.
