"I am excited to be able to play the No. 1 team in the NCAA's. I believe it is the first time an ETSU team has gone head to head with a No. 1 ranked team," said Lady Buc head coach Steve Brooks. "Our schedule is a lot tougher this year which has forced us to be on the road more than usual. The first half of the season we have played seven ranked teams and defeated on of them."

"We are currently in first place in the A-Sun and I hope that the second half of the season is good to us so we can stay undefeated in conference play. We have to start playing more disciplined. I know the girls want to keep the winning tradition that has been built intact. The girls are also excited to be able to now spend some more time at home with their classes and do well with academics," said Brooks.
