Men's and women's tennis update from Day One at the UNF Fall Invitational

JACKSONVILLE,  Fla. (October 10, 2008) - After a two hour rain delay, the ETSU women's tennis team had a strong showing in Day One of the UNF Fall Invitational, in Jacksonville, Fla.

 

Senior Tara Byrne (Johnson City), sophomore Andra Voinea (Brasov, Romania), freshmen Paula Jamie (Madrid, Spain) and Karina Kedzo (Puerto Ordaz, Venezuela) all won matches during Friday's first round, while senior Vita Moskaliova's (Minsk, Belarus) match was suspended due to the inclement weather.

 

On the men's side no ETSU matches were completed due to the heavy winds and rain.
