JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 20, 2012) – The No.2-seeded ETSU women’s tennis team will go up against No. 3-seeded Florida Gulf Coast in Saturday’s semifinals of the 2012 Atlantic Sun Women’s Tennis Championships. Due to the weather forecast calling for precipitation in the afternoon, the match has been moved to Milligan College at 10:30 a.m. in an attempt to beat the weather.

ETSU (11-8, 7-2 A-Sun) swept Florida Gulf Coast (10-10, 6-3 A-Sun) 7-0 at home during the regular season on March 24. The Buccaneers took every set on their way to shutting out the Eagles in the match, which was moved to the indoor Bristol Racquet Club because of weather.

FGCU earned their first postseason victory as part of the A-Sun conference, defeating No. 6 Jacksonville 4-2 in Friday’s last quarterfinal.

Saturday's other semifinal match between No. 1 North Florida and No. 4 Stetson was also moved to 10:30 a.m., and will be played at the Buddy Hartsell Tennis Center.
