JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 21, 2014) – Balancing a rigorous athletic regiment with a full academic workload is no easy task; however, three ETSU teams managed to not only toe the delicate balance, but conquer it.
DURHAM, N.C. (May 9, 2014) - The ETSU women's tennis team's championship season came to a close Friday afternoon, as the Bucs fell to No. 5 and host Duke, 4-0, on the Blue Devils' home court in Durham, N.C.
DURHAM, N.C. (May 8, 2014) - Making its fourth NCAA Championship appearance, and second in the past four seasons, the ETSU women's tennis team will take on fourth-seeded and fifth-ranked Duke in Durham, N.C., Friday, May 9 in the opening round of the 2014 Women's Tennis Championship.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 29, 2014) - At a special viewing party Tuesday inside the D.P. Culp University Center, the ETSU men's and women's tennis teams learned their opponents for the upcoming NCAA Tennis Championships.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 20, 2014) – Just a few hours after the ETSU men’s squad clinched an A-Sun tournament title, the ETSU women’s tennis team joined the celebration, beating Stetson to take home the program’s third Atlantic Sun Women’s Tennis Championship title in the last six years.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 19, 2014) – The conclusion of No. 2 ETSU's Atlantic Sun Championship semifinal match versus No. 3 FGCU was postponed due to severe rain in Jacksonville, Fla. When play was suspended, the Bucs were leading FGCU, 3-1.

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (April 17, 2014) - Winners of nine of its last ten matches, the ETSU women's tennis team will begin play in the 2014 Atlantic Sun Women's Tennis Championship when it goes toe-to-toe with third-seeded FGCU Friday, April 18 in the tournament semifinals.
MACON, Ga. (April 16, 2014) - For the seventh time in the past eight seasons, the ETSU women's tennis team has placed a player on the All-Atlantic Sun First Team, with both Lyn Yee Choo (Kuching, Malaysia) and Giulia Andreazza (Balneario Camboriu, Brazil) earning the honor.
MACON, Ga. (April 15, 2014) - The ETSU Tennis program continued its rich tradition of academic excellence Tuesday, as the Bucs placed a league-best seven players on the Atlantic Sun Academic All-Conference Team, including Scholar Athletes of the Year, Ismael Merino and Jessica Brumit.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 11, 2014) - Junior Jessica Brumit (Elizabethton, Tenn.) earned her eighth consecutive singles victory Friday as the ETSU women's tennis team improved its Atlantic Sun record to 6-1, beating Kennesaw State, 6-1.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 10, 2014) - The ETSU men's and women's tennis teams will conclude league play this weekend as they host Kennesaw State Friday, April 11 and Mercer for Senior Day Saturday, April 12. The men's squad will take the court at 11:00 a.m., both days followed by the women's team at approximately 2:00 p.m.

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (Sept. 29, 2013) - Junior Jessica Brumit (Elizabethton, Tenn.) capped a solid weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational Sunday with a win in the final round of the E singles flight.
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. and WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. (Sept. 28, 2013) - The ETSU men's and women's tennis teams enjoyed solid performances in their respective doubles flights during the second day of the UTC Fall Invite and Wake Forest Invitational.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Sept. 21, 2013) - Incliment weather caused officials to postpone the second day of competition of the USC Upstate Fall Classic. All singles and doubles flights will be played to completion Sunday, Sept. 22.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (Sept. 20, 2013) – The ETSU women’s tennis team did not drop a set during the first day of the USC Upstate Fall Classic, sending both doubles teams to the finals of the A flight and all four singles players to the quarterfinals of their respective flights.

ELON, N.C. (Sept. 15, 2013) – In its opening weekend of fall play, the ETSU women’s tennis team dominated the Elon Fall Invitational, dropping just one set en route to winning all five flights it competed in.

In the tournament’s second day of competition, ETSU dropped just one set en route to advancing all four of its participants to the finals of their respective flights.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 11, 2013) – During a press conference Tuesday inside the D.P. Culp University Center, the East Tennessee State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics was officially welcomed back into the Southern Conference. In addition, it was announced that ETSU Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Richard Sander has signed a one-year extension with the program.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (June 7, 2013) – ETSU women’s tennis assistant coach Travis Sandlant announced Friday the signings Ioanna Markesini (Athens, Greece) and Adreanna Christopoulou (Athens, Greece) to National Letters of Intent for the 2013-14 season.
HILTON HEAD, S.C. (May 30, 2013) – East Tennessee State University, Mercer University and the Virginia Military Institute have been extended invitations to join the Southern Conference beginning July 1, 2014, SoCon Commissioner John Iamarino announced from the league’s spring meetings Thursday.
