Playing at home for the first time since Feb. 1, the Buccaneeers (3-6) suffered a 4-2 setback to reigning Big South Champion Winthrop Thursday, Feb. 20.
Sofia Espana and Jessica Brumit found the win column at singles for ETSU, with Brumit notching her team-best fifth victory of the season. Both Brumit and Salma Dahbi each have five singles wins this season.

After winning its first two matches of the 2014 campaign, VCU suffered five consecutive losses before snapping its loss streak Feb. 9 with a 6-1 win over Penn State.
