LAKEWOOD RANCH, Fla. (Nov. 13, 2015) – The East Tennessee State University women’s tennis team dropped three close matches in the first day of the Dick Vitale Intercollegiate Clay Court Classic in Florida.
“It was a tough day,” said ETSU Head Coach Travis Sandlant. “We just failed to hold serve when it counted. Too loose two matches in tie breakers today which doesn’t happen too often. It’s the strongest tournament of the year so for us to be competing and having a solid chance at winning is a positive.”
The Bucs will resume the event tomorrow with consolation singles play.
