Bucs sweep USC Upstate, 7-0, to open season

Bucs look to make it two in a row Sunday vs. Appalachian State

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 30, 2016) – The ETSU women’s tennis team opened its 2016 season as well as a team can as the Bucs swept USC Upstate, 7-0, Saturday afternoon at the Dave Mullins Tennis Complex.

“It was good to get outdoors and get the first match under our belt,” said ETSU Head Coach Travis Sandlant. “We look forward to hosting Appalachian State tomorrow.”

Sunday’s match against the Mountaineers is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. at the Dave Mullins Tennis Complex. With a win, the Buccaneers would notch their third 2-0 start in the last four seasons.
