SPARTANBURG, S.C. (June 27, 2016) – The league office announced on Monday that 49 ETSU student-athletes earned spots on the spring 2016 Academic All-Southern Conference team.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 28, 2016) – On the final day of the NCAA East Preliminaries, freshman Kyra Atkins (Greer, S.C.) saw her outstanding outdoor season come to an end after running a time of 13.56 in the 100 meter hurdle quarterfinals.
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (May 27, 2016) – After claiming two individual titles at the Southern Conference Championships, freshman Kyra Atkins (Greer, S.C.) continued her momentum at the NCAA East Preliminaries on Friday qualifying for the quarterfinals in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 13.32, tying the school record.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (May 18, 2016) – On Wednesday freshman Kyra Atkins (Greer, S.C.) was named Southern Conference Outdoor Track & Field freshman of the year as voted on by the league's coaches.
CULLOWHEE, N.C. (May 13, 2016) – On Friday at the 2016 Southern Conference Championships the ETSU Track and Field program saw two SoCon Champions emerge as junior Michael Williams (Mt.Laurel,N.J.) won the 400 meter hurdles for the second straight year while freshman Kyra Atkins (Greer, S.C.) won her second SoCon Championship of the weekend in the 100 meter hurdles.

(May 12, 2016) – It was a terrific day one of the 2016 Southern Conference Championships for the ETSU Track and Field program, highlighted by freshman Kyra Atkins (Greer, S.C.) becoming the SoCon Champion in the women's long jump and junior Simeon Roberts (Greeneville, Tenn.) coming away victorious in the 3000m steeplechase.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (May 11, 2016) – The ETSU Track and Field program will visit Cullowhee, N.C. for the third time this season for the 2016 Southern Conference Outdoor Championships hosted by Western Carolina University, May 12-13.

ATLANTA, Ga. (April 23, 2016) – On the final day of the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga., the ETSU Track and Field team captured four top five finishes with senior Ashley Kessler (Knoxville, Tenn.) coming away victorious in the women's pole vault.
ATLANTA, Ga. (April 22, 2016) – On day one of the Georgia Tech Invitational in Atlanta, Ga., the ETSU Track and Field program had just 14 student-athletes competing in seven events with junior Simeon Roberts (Greeneville, Tenn.) leading the Buccaneers with a top five finish in the 1500 meter.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (April 21, 2016) – For the second time during the outdoor season the ETSU Track and Field program will head to Atlanta, Ga. to take part in the Georgia Tech Invitational, April 22-23.
CULLOWHEE, N.C. (April 16, 2016) – It was an excellent performance by the ETSU Track and Field program on the final day of the Benyon Sports Complex Catamount Classic as the Buccaneers had five event winners on Saturday in Cullowhee, N.C.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 18, 2016) – Friday at the 49'er Classic in Charlotte, N.C. was a successful day for the ETSU Outdoor Track and Field program as the Buccaneers posted multiple personal bests along with two top-five finishes and three top ten's.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 16, 2016) – For the sixth straight year the ETSU Track and Field Program will begin the outdoor season at the 49er Classic in Charlotte, N.C. The meet will run from March 17 to March 19 at Irwin Belk Track & Field Center on the campus of the University of Charlotte.
SPARTANBURG, S.C. (March 2, 2016) – ETSU Track & Field’s Kyra Atkins (Greer, S.C.) was named SoCon freshman of the year on the women’s side Wednesday by the league office.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Feb. 27, 2016) – The ETSU track & field program wrapped up the Southern Conference Indoor Championships Saturday at Birmingham’s CrossPlex. The women’s team finished in third place with 84.50 points, while the men posted a fourth place finish. In total, the Bucs won four events and five other athletes earned medals.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Feb. 26, 2016) – The ETSU Track & Field program wrapped up the first day of the 2016 Southern Conference Indoor Championships Friday Birmingham’s CrossPlex. The women sit in third place with 34.50 points, while the men are in fourth place with 23 points.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 25, 2016) – The ETSU Track & Field program will head to Birmingham, Ala. this weekend to compete in the SoCon Indoor Championships. The meet, which will be held at the CrossPlex, will be the 81st annual championship on the men’s side and the 29th for the women’s.
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Feb. 12, 2016) – The ETSU Track and Field program turned in a solid day at the Samford Invitational Friday in Birmingham, Ala. ETSU tallied 30.5 combined points in its first scored meet of the season. The 30.5 points ranked 12th among the 16 schools that competed in the meet.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 11, 2016) – The ETSU Track & Field program will look to build upon the momentum it gained last weekend Friday when it competes in the Samford Invitational at the Birmingham CrossPlex.

WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (Jan. 30, 2016) – The ETSU Track & Field program finished up its weekend at the Camel City Classic Saturday with four top 10 performances. Leading the way for ETSU Saturday was junior Brett Squibbs (Rock Hill, S.C.) who finished second in the pole vault with a mark of 4.85m.
WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (Jan. 29, 2016) – The ETSU Track & Field program wrapped up day one of the Camel City Classic Friday in Winston Salem, N.C. In total the Bucs tallied four top 10 finishes in day one of competition with the best finish being ninth in three different events.
JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Jan. 28, 2016) – Following a week off from competition, the ETSU Track & Field program will be back in action this weekend at the Camel City Classic in Winston Salem, N.C. The event will be held at the JDL Fast Track and will feature over 40 events over Jan. 29-30.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (September 16, 2015) – The ETSU track and field program announced its 2015 individual and team awards on Wednesday selected by the ETSU coaching staff taking both indoor and outdoor results into consideration. Track and Field also honored team captains and those who broke school records during the 2014-15 track and field season.
NEW ORLEANS- (July 20, 2015) – The ETSU track & field program was recognized on Monday earning All-Academic team honors by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
