Meet to be video streamed on ESPN+

HIGH POINT, N.C. (March 30, 2023) – For the third straight weekend, the ETSU men’s and women’s track and field teams will make the trek to North Carolina as the Buccaneers are set to compete in the VertKlasse Meeting, which gets underway Friday in Vert Stadium.

Dates: March 31-April 1

Meet: VertKlasse Meeting

Location: Vert Stadium (High Point, N.C.)

Time: Day one of the meeting gets started Friday morning with the men’s hammer at 10 a.m., while Friday’s track events begin at 2:30 p.m. with women’s steeplechase … On Saturday, events get underway at 9 a.m. with the women’s 800m and women’s hammer.

ETSU is scheduled to send 37 athletes to High Point this weekend

Twenty-two women are set to compete this weekend, while 15 men will be in action

Teams expected to be represented at VertKlasse include Anderson, Averett, Barton, Bridgewater, Buffalo State, Campbell, Capital, Catawba, Charleston, Columbia (S.C.), Concord, Davidson, Duke, ETSU, Elon, Fayetteville, Florida Atlantic, Gardner-Webb, Georgian Court, Glenville State, Guilford, High Point, Hillsdale, Johnson C. Smith, Lee's-McRae, Lenoir Rhyne, Liberty, Mars Hill, Mount St. Mary's, North Carolina Central, Queens (N.C.), Roanoke, Shaw, St. Andrew's, St. Augustine, UNC Asheville, UNC Greensboro, UNC Pembroke, VCU, VMI, Wake Forest, Walsh, West Virginia, Wheeling, and Winston-Salem State.

UP NEXT

The Bucs will remain in state as ETSU is set to compete at the Tennessee Relays in Knoxville from April 7-8.
