KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (April 6, 2023) – A trio of ETSU women throwers opened competition at the Tennessee Invitational on Thursday night inside Tom Black Track in Knoxville.
Mary Brown (Radford, Va.), Alyssa Ceja-Pena (Salinas, Calif.) and Anna Moore (Knoxville, Tenn.) were all in action for the Blue and Gold in the hammer throw on the opening night of the meet.
Moore provided the headlines in her trip back home, setting a personal best with a mark of 45.10 on her third attempt of the competition. This was the second straight weekend Moore set a PR in the event as her previous best of 43.82m occurred last weekend at the Verklasse Meeting in High Point, N.C.
Day two of the meet gets underway Friday at 10 a.m. with women’s heptathlon. Live results are available via AdkinsTrak.com, while events will be video streamed live on SEC Network+.
