2022 Track and Field:

Competed in four indoor meets and seven outdoor meets during the 2021-2022 season.

Indoor: Made her indoor season debut at the ETSU Track and Field Invitational (Jan. 14-15)  with a second-place finish in the 400 meters, running a time of 58.76. Runner-up  in the 400 meters at the 2022 Buccaneer Track and Field Invitational (Feb.3-5) with a time of 58.99.  Was also a leg of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished in second-place with a time of 3:57.38. Set a personal best of 2:18.05 in the 800m at the Music City Challenge (Feb.11-12). Added points to the Bucs scoring total in three events at the Southern Conference Indoor Track and Field Championship (Feb.26-27) with a fifth-place finish in the 400 meters with a time of 57.96, was also a member of the championship 4x400m relay team that ran a time of 3:53.96, and was a member of the DMR team that posted a third-place finish with a time of 12:26.61

Outdoor: Made her season debut as a leg of the first-place 4x800 meter relay team that finished with a time of 9:39.29 at the Charlotte 49er Classic (Mar.17-19). Added another first-place finish to her resume as a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that posted a time of 3:48.68 at the Catamount Classic (Apr.15-16). Scored in two events for the Bucs at the Southern Conference Outdoor Championships (Apr.30-May 1) with a time of 58.64 in the 400 meters and as a member of the championship 4x400 meter relay team that crossed the line with a time of 3:48.68.

2021 Track & Field: Competed in seven meets in her freshman season...made her debut in the 800m at the VMI Team Challenge (Jan. 23)...set PRs in the 400m (1:01.30) and the 800m (2:25.12) at the Buccaneer T&F Invitational (Feb. 5-6)...set a PR in her first competition in the 400m hurdles (1:14.72) at the High Point Vertklasse Meeting (April 1-2)...helped her team to a third place finish in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:49.47 at the SoCon Outdoor Championships (May 1-2)…named to the SoCon Honor Roll and was awarded the Commissioner’s Medal.

Prior to ETSU: Graduate of Knox West High School...lettered every year in both cross country and track and field...a member of the state champion and school record relay team in the 4x800 in both 2017 and 2019...runner up in 2017 in the 4x400m relays...two individual fourth place finishes in the 800m at the state meet...member of the 4x400m relay team that won gold in the 2018 state championships...personal record for the 400m was 59.32s in high school while recording a time of 2:16.74 time in the 800m.

Personal: Daughter of Jason and Penny Burkhart ... Born on August 21 ... Majoring in Exercise Science.
