Women’s Triathlon unveils 2022-23 schedule

Bucs open season at home on Sept. 3

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Aug. 17, 2022) – The ETSU women’s triathlon team will compete in seven meets this season as the head coach Allie Nicosia unveiled the Buccaneers’ 2022-23 schedule on Wednesday.

The Bucs will open the season at home as they host the ETSU Aquathlon on Saturday, Sept. 3 inside the Basler Center for Physical Activity (CPA). The event is scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.  

After the home opener, ETSU heads north for the Beaver County Tri Cup, which is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 10 in Beaver Falls, Pa. The Blue and Gold close out the month by heading to Troutman, N.C. for the Cal Tri Charlotte on Sept. 25.  

ETSU makes its final tune up prior to the National Championship by competing in the East Regional Qualifier on Oct. 15 in Huddleston, Va. A month later, the National Championship will be held Nov. 12 in Tempe, Ariz.

Following the winter break, ETSU travels to Florida for a pair of spring competitions. First, the Bucs will compete in the Clermont Draft Legal Challenge, the weekend of March 4-5 and the following weekend the Blue and Gold compete in the Sarasota-Bradenton Triathlon.
