TEMPE, Ariz. (Nov. 12, 2022) – ETSU triathlete Abby Church (Chantilly, Va.) finished in ninth place at the Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championship in Tempe, Ariz. on Saturday afternoon with an overall time of 1:05:51, leading the Bucs and making the top 10 of the national meet.
Saturday marked Church’s third top 10 finish of the season, doing so in a field of 52 runners this afternoon.
Arizona State University finished atop the team leaderboard with 239 points. Amber Schlebusch of ASU led the team and took first place overall with a time of 1:03:41.
As a team, ETSU finished sixth overall with 135 points.

The Bucs will have a long break between meets, as the next event is this coming Spring at the Clermont Draft Legal Challenge in Clermont, Fla. on March 4-5, 2023.
